I went for a walk in Richmond Park today. Naturally I lugged along my camera gear.
Within the park I stumbled upon an enclosure known as Isabella Plantation.
By luck I had stumbled upon it at exactly the right time of year, everything was in full bloom.
It was also perfect weather, sunny with a nice cooling breeze.
I took many photos. So many in fact that I can’t post them all in one go.
This selection is of the more abstract ones.
The next lot will be close-ups of bees of butterflies.
This was the first time I’ve used the macro lens and tripod outdoors to take photos of flowers and plants – it worked out quite well. I should do it more often.
I still have more Lake District photos to add too, so it’s a bit of a photo flood at the moment.
As always, all photos added here also automatically appear on Flickr (it’s all done with magnets, magnets and XML).
